Through the design and implementation of sustainable energy strategies and technologies, ISENER brings value to organizations committed to social responsibility and sustainability. The aim of the intervention is to improve energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energies, as well as mitigate and compensate residual environmental and social impact. The ISENER methodology encompasses three stages:

  • STAGE 1: IDENTIFICATION
    • Energy Audit: The energy audit is a procedure to obtain information regarding energy consumption in a facility, a building or  facility site, through a process of identification and evaluation of the potential energy efficiency from a technical and economic perspective
    • Carbon Footprint Analysis and contextual social impacts related to energy consumption
  • STAGE 2: PLANNING
    • Develop a sustainable energy plan integrated in the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy of organizations, taking into account the reality, the agenda and budget of our clients. We analyze each SDGs and identify the ones that have greater impact on the organization so that we can transform goals into objectives integrated in their strategy.  The plan aims to reduce and offset the Carbon Footprint associated with energy consumption and the subsequent social impact. The proposed measures will affect the economies, having a payback and rate of return, which ensure their economic sustainability. Further measures will be proposed to offset impacts for residual impacts. We assist in defining specific objectives, indicators, sources of verification, and people responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the plan in the organization.
    • We identify the major measures prioritized by their potential to reduce and offset impacts and establish an action plan for their implementation. The offsetting of CO2eq emissions is based on the voluntary contribution of an amount of money proportional to the tons of CO2eq emitted, which have not been reduced yet, for a certain period of time. This economic contribution is invested in projects focused in reducing emissions or absorb CO2eq. ISENER plans to develop offset projects which aim to fulfill two objectives: combating climate change and poverty using energy as a vector for transformation.
  • STAGE 3: IMPLEMENTATION
    • Training
    • Technical assistance during the implementation process
    • Advise on how to disseminate the implemented actions and their positive impact
